A Little This and That

Where has this month gone? I can’t believe it is over. I knit up a pair of felted slippers for my youngest. These are so funny when you knit them up because they are so huge. I had my son try them on.

Of course once they are felted up and dried they went right on his feet and haven’t come off. I also knit up a pair of socks for my oldest. The minute they came off the needles they went on his feet. Both boys love their things.

I also crocheted up this pair of cute baby slippers last night and put this finishing touches on this morning.

The pattern is from my favorite website, Repeatcrafterme. She has some great patterns. This pattern is called Crochet Cuffed Baby Booties. The pattern is easy to follow.

We’ll gotta go. I am off to knit a little before I go wrangle 24 Kinders. Have a great weekend, and stay warm.

First 2014 State Fair Project

Well I thought this project was going to take longer than it did. I actually finished it on Sunday and wore it to work this week. I love it.

I also finished a scarf this week for an order. I try to stay away from Red Heart yarn. I just don’t like the stuff. Well when I was at a big box store last week I saw Red Heart Boutique Unforgettable. The yarn is very soft and has a silky feel to it. This is the results. I am pleased.

I almost forgot. I finished up a cowl I started in November. Dang I got a lot done these past couple weeks.
