I had to order more yarn for Bad Penny. It came in and I finished it on Sunday. I forgot to take to to Crochet Guild on Monday, but I will take it to show the girls next month. I am happy how it turned out. Now I just have to wait for it to cool down a little before I wear it. It was almost 70 degrees here yesterday. Crazy Kansas weather.
While I was waiting on my yarn to arrive I started a cowl called Inspira Cowl. I love this pattern. I used 1 skein Bernat Silky and 1 skein Bernat Mosaic. I ad just a little bit of mosaic left. Not even enough to complete a whole row. I love this pattern and can see making more.
Now what to make next?
It has been cold and snowy here for the past couple of weeks. We have a warm front that is lingering over us right now. I have the day off today so I decided to get my house work done, then enjoy a little outside time. It is currently 60 degrees and a little breeze. I love the sun.
I also love my Starbucks Carmel Frappacuno.
I am still waiting on the yarn to arrive for my Bad Penny sweater. So I decided to crochet a couple of headbands for some girls at school.
They turned out cute and the girls love them.
We have had inside recess 5,000 days in a row. Not really, but it feels like it. I spent part of my time this weekend going to Dollar Tree purchasing a few new games. I also made this bean bag toss game. It will give the kiddos a few more choices.
I can’t wait for all the snow to melt and we can all get back outside. I need my sun!
Well This last weekend I worked on Bad Penny. Monday morning I ran out of yarn. Noooooo. I quickly ran downstairs to see if I had another skein. Nope. So I had to order another skein.
I did make these cute little stitch holders.
I am currently working on the Bad Penny sweater. I cast on Thursday night. Ripped back on Friday. I am using Berroco Vintage Cafe Latte. I love how it is turning out.
